Bella padded into a clearing. The scent was unfamiliar. She could see trees getting chopped down, and bared her teeth at the two-legs, fur bristeling. They didn't notice her, and that's what she wanted. She'd been abused, even burned when she'd stalked the alleys. Now, she felt none were good. She ran away, where she could not inhale their reek.

Creek lifted his head. He had slept in that day and was woken by the noisy rumbling of the twolegs. "Bloody Twolegs!" he muttered. Shaking the leaf mold out of his fur he padded towards the sound. There was nothing to do today and watching trees fall down was a crumy escuse too.

Bella looked back. She saw Wes padding toward the twolegs. Is he crazy? She thought, sitting with her tail wrapped around her paws. Her ears were perked, and she looked quite interested.

Creek leaped up in to a tree. His senses were a bit smothered right now along with the dust. He sat down and let his gaze burn over the display. If only he could read the minds of Twolegs as well as cats he could know why they were so mousebrained. He curled his tail around his paws and flattened his ears when a birch tree fell down just inches away shaking his tree up.

Bella stopped, her claws digging into the ground. Her gaze swiveled to the trail where the twolegs usually ran or walked, which to her, was pointless to do for no reason. At once, she spotted her former "family". Not the ones her mother lived with... The bratty young two-leg kit. She bolted off, yowling loudly. The gray she-cat could hear the kit yowling, and heard his clumsy chubby legs pounding the earth after it. His mother was following, not looking too concerned.

Creek turned his attention to the couple of twolegs that had come along on a path. Suddenly his tree shook! The twolegs were cutting it down! Creek dashed off the tree hitting the ground clumsily.

Bella stopped. She saw Wes. The fall was much too high. The gray rogue turned, trying to swerve away from the twoleg, but it also swerved, and landed on her. She hissed, and clawed him. No way was she going back there! It was this time the mother came, screaming her head off at Bella. Bella tried wriggling free, doing everything in her power to get to Wes.

Creek smashed to the ground on his side. "Ow! Not the smartest thing I ever did." he got up. Trying to shake the drowziness out of his head he reflected that nearly a quarter moon of no sleep has made him unuse to it.

Bella squirmed. She slashed out at both of them, and the mother yowled. She pointed to her kit, then at Bella. The mother put something to her ear, and started speaking to it! It was the weirdest thing Bella'd ever seen! The mother flipped it closed, and put it in her pelt, which was also strange. Pretty soon, a white monster rumbled up the Twoleg Path. She could see dogs and other cats. A male twoleg dressed in dark blue hopped out. He had a chain. He strode towards Bella, who was held down by the twoleg kit. Now, she was thrashing all limbs. Her eyes looked around wildly.

Creek's head jerked around. "NO!" he lashed out at the Twoleg kit who was holding Bella and gave the gray she-cat a fierce shove in the flank shoving her in to the bushes but then felt the big twoleg grab his hindquarters and slashed out on his big clunky paw.

Bella hissed, and dashed forward. She clamped onto the twoleg who held Wes. She sank her teeth in, holding on with her claws. Bright crimson liquids flowed down his ankle. He yowled, stomping around. She held on.

Creek felt the giant paw release him and lashed out at the twoleg one more time. "RUN!" he screeched to Bella

A small black-silver shape shot past Bella. With a hiss Luna launched herself at the Twoleg kit and clawed its arm.

The twoleg swiped her off, but it didn't really harm her. She leaped to her paws, and ran away, following Wes. Bella didn't stop until she was at the end of the forest. She looked up after catching her breath. " Never..... Never... Will........ I ....... Go............ There............. again....." She huffed, rolling over.

Creek jerked his head around. "Luna! Your insane!" he didn't like Luna at all but he couldn't bear to see a cat get taken by Twolegs but he really didn't want to risk his life for such an unloving cat
